Still, gotta make time for a chat! so make yourselves comfortable, enjoy a cuppa and lets chat.
This week's questions from Patrice.
Do you eat eggs? What is your favorite way to serve them?
Eggs are one of my favourite foods, they are so versatile and I love them everywhich way.
Do you have a favorite item that you really like having around? (a pillow, a chair, a sweater, a teddy bear, etc.)
you might as well ask me which is my favourite child. I love everything in my home and most of the items have a story. I love my home and everything in it.
Is most of the furniture in your home dark wood, light wood, painted, lacquered, or distressed?
The living areas are mostly dark wood, my bedroom has light wood furniture and my sewing room and spare room is white lacquered furniture which makes it all look lovely and fresh.

old Churches........I most likely "couldn't" write a book. My son is the writer.....his first book is being published as an e-book and available by end of February. I have always had this facination with old churches and wondered if there is a market for a coffee table book of old churches.

I would pick the Bed and Breakfast option. There are some gorgeous ones north of here in the Glasshouse mountains. Given more time (and more money) I would opt out of all of the above options and choose a cruise around the Med.
I think you should write that book about old churches Cath! Great topic!
ReplyDeleteI love to take pictures of pretty churches as we travel around. I agree eggs are so wonderful because you can do so many things with them.
ReplyDeleteI love your "chat" days - Im sure a coffee table book of old chaurches would be a goer - there are some gorgeous stained glass windows in so many of them...
ReplyDeletehope your son's book does well Cathy.xx
ReplyDeleteVery interesting post Cath and guess what the coffee table book about Churches is not a bad idea , there is a local photographer that did just that and it is a beautiful book and was a very good seller in this area so keep on taking those photos and you just might get published ! Good luck with yoru son's book , what is the title! I would also take that cruise if money allowed ;-)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about eggs. -One of the basics in my diet. I think a book about old churches would be lovely. It would probably work best if done in certain regions. Then there could be a series! A woman near us did a coffee table book about the historic sites here. It's a lovely book.
