One day last week while miss M and I were walking the dogs, we were caught in a sudden rain shower and decided to take a short cut home. I saw the most beautiful bunch of gum blossom but didn't have my camera with me, in and case, we were rushing to get home before we got soaked.
I have never seen such a lot of gum blossoms together on a tree like this before.....spectacular!

ReplyDeleteI do love a red flowering gum ... J
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Cath!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen eucalyptus flowers before although we do have some trees here in the UK - obviously not native!
Gorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen these before! It is wonderful when you show us plants from your native land....otherwise I would never know they existed. Have a Blessed Sunday!
ReplyDeleteOh my, these are stunning! We do not have those here and it is just wonderful to see such wonderful blooming trees from other places. I wonder if they would grow here in the US. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Cath,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo you took. Those flowers are absolutely
blazing with colour there. We have those trees too just across
the road from us, only trouble is the wild 28's get in those
trees and eat the flowers before they're on the trees too long.
Lovely photo.
Cheers, Anita.
