and then another few!

Its still a bit difficult to juggle work, home, hobbies but when the kids throw in their own curve balls, it leaves no time to blog.....or so it seems anyway. I will try to forget about motorbikes, new fast cars and overseas trips to do an update.

I have been steadily working on a few of my BOM's and have almost completed the stitching on block 2a and 2b. Now if only I could find the thread colour 3042 in my stash, I could finish those lavender petals!

 Once they are finished, I will have completed one whole floor of my Edwardian House.

And I have decided to show the whole of those little teasers.

A stitch here and a stitch there

Well it seems I did get a little bit of stitching done this week. I knitted a little sample piece for the Farmyard Frolics BOM. This will be attached to the quilt as "Miss Baa's" show&tell knitting.

 I worked on the candlewicking piece that I am doing with Sally. I am keeping this one a little secret as it will be heading off to someone who reads my blog!! Some Stem Stitching here....

I have decided to add some subtle colour into my piece and these are my french knots...

 It is so nice to have something to show for a change.....

Too weary to sew!

Another week been and gone and nothing to show for it but sore feet and a great weariness.....yes, I am still putting in more hours at the grind stone I call "work". I can't say I don't have time to stitch but the fact is, I don't have the inclination!

There was an uplifting moment in my week when these gorgeous blooms were brought home for me by hubby. At the time they were all just buds but as the week wore on they have bloomed and I smile whenever I look at them. He is a lovely man!
