Friday Report - Nada, Nothing, Zilch

For the first time ever, I signed up for FNSI and did absolutely no stitching...Nada, Nothing, Zilch... infact Sweet Fanny Adams!

I would like to say ....
  • I have finished the Baby G quilt but the fabric hasn't arrived yet so nothing happening there.
  • I finished Flowerville...but no, I still have a few more stitches to complete that project.
  • I have traced the next block of A Country Tea Party.....but no! I haven't done that either!

I have....
  • been engrossed in a couple of books that arrived
  • been outside with my camera taking photo's and have written several draft posts for Cath@Home
  • been stalking fb because Baby G has arrived in the World....10 days early! This is my second time as a great aunt and I have loved seeing the photo's of him appear on line. He is sooooo little & cute and important because he will be taking the family name into the future!

Since the Linky Tool is up and active again.....Yippee!

I will....
  • be hosting Design Board Monday here on Bits 'n Bobs
  • be hosting What's for Dinner Wednesday over on Cath@Home
  • be hosting a new Link Up on Cath@Home on Friday for all your Favourite weekly happenings...Fun Friday Favourites...come and check it out!

before I go and organise myself for the day and settle down to read what everyone else was up to at FNSI at Sugarlane Quilts, I thought I should explain my behaviour on last Friday Report...when I mentioned the unmentionable position I was in.

  1. A great aunt. What fun!
Sometimes its OK to just veg out and do nothing. Our lives are running at a frantic pace these days and everyone needs a little time out.

  2. Congrats on being a repeat Great Aunt xx I too can easily get distracted by nice books.

  3. You thought about all those things and made a list. I think that counts ;-)

  4. Never mind all those things will be waiting for you to do. Enjoy when you make a start.

  5. Ah, well, you were out and took beautiful photos, you enjoyed a good read, you made me Google sweet Fanny Adams, and you made me laugh with that cartoon! :)

Welcome to the sweet new baby!

  6. Congratulations Cath on becoming a Great Aunt (again)! You seem to have had a productive time.... even if it wasn't stitching! Have a fun weekend!

  7. You did take some lovely photos Cath so all was not lost.

  8. From what I see you have been doing lots!! Sometimes I sit and don't pick up a needle or thread, I sit, ponder.... Look in magazines and book... We have to, to gather inspiration!!
Looking forward to see what your design board is all about :)
Congratulations for the 2nd time on becoming a great aunt, awesome!!
    Smiles :)

  9. You must have been too tired to sew! My pooch won't come in the bathroom if I'm in there. I appreciate that. :)

  10. You've been so busy!!! lol I love your little dog
caption there. They do want to be involved with
    all their owners do.
    Cheers, Anita.

  11. Congratulations and thank you for asking me to link, I will come over

  12. Hahaha sweet fanny Adams...gave me a laugh, that's for sure! Don't worry...all good plans can come a cropper....I would have been too excited with the news of becoming a great aunt....congratulations Cath! After all, there's slways next month! Xo
