.....*fingers crossed*
After a week and a half, my sleeping pattern seems to be sorted out....be gone dreaded Jet Lag. Curse!! Ok, so I am awake at 4:30 in the morning but at least I have had a good solid 8 hours sleep instead of 3hours every night. I am feeling a lot better which is just as well as I have my first long day back at work today.
I popped out to a class yesterday (Strictly Sally Miller projects) and made a start on my Farmyard Frolics (block 3) as I am so far behind (again!).
Sally had assigned candlewicking for the day (if we were interested) and designed a gorgeous little aussie icon to work on. I succumbed and she graciously did all the hard work of preparing the piece ready for stitching. And I couldn't resist resist doing a few stitches last night!
I have decided to give this piece away so not too much detail in the photo.
I also saw this in the garden yesterday giving me an opportunity to have a play with my camera.
Till next time...

Glad you got your sleep pattern worked out , jet lag is not fun. Candlewicking is very enjoyable ,haven't done it in years but do love it. What an awesome spiderweb , wonder if Charlotte made it ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat web is amazing - clever little things those spiders. I am sure teh candle wicking will be relaixing - no colour choices and its all ready to go - enjoy it. Shame about going back to wrok though isnt it??
ReplyDeleteGlad the jet lag is easing up a bit. Love the little 'peeks'. Anticipation for the final pictures is almost as exciting as seeing them finished! That spider web is amazing.....although I don't think I would want to see the spider who made that thing!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just hate jet lag. I went to South Africa in 2005 and my sleeping habits were so messed up by the time I got back home. Not only that while there I lost a day and gained it back when I arrived back in the states. Anyhow, glad to know yours is better. I love the spiderweb, they do such intricate work and it never fails to amaze me. I've never done any candlewicking so am looking forward to seeing your project. I think it is a lovely style of stitching, I have just never done any.
ReplyDeleteAhh, sleep. Hope you continue to rest well. I did some candlewicking once upon a time. Yours looks very nice. And I loved the photos of the sleepover. :)
