Chatting on the Porch

It is that time of week again. Chatting on the Porch with Patrice at Everyday Ruralty.

What is your favorite way to have potatoes?
Whatever way they come.......I loooove potatoes. Must be the Irish in me :) Roasted are my very favourite.

Do you keep your house toasty warm or a bit cooler?
Definitely COOLER! It is hot, hot, hot in my corner of the world atm

What would you most like to see under the tree?
Whatever is under the tree with my name on would make me happy because I know that my family have chosen it for me with love and lots of thought.

Do you have an Elf on the Shelf? This one may not translate to other countries- Just tell us something you want if you don't know what I'm talking about.
No Elf on the Shelf here........do I really need one?

Have you put up a Christmas tree this year?
Yes, ours went up on the 1st December.  My daughter always decorates the tree while I concentrate on the rest of the decorations.  We make a big day out of it.  My boys used to help when they were younger but now both are 20 something and no longer interested.

If you enjoyed my chat, head on over to Everyday Ruralty......say hi to Wendell while you are there.

  1. I love your white tree - it looks beautiful! Boys are funny that way - my son (who is also in his 20's) won't help with decorating our trees anymore but goes over every year and helps his Grandparents do their tree. Have a wonderful week :)

  8. I just got my computer back from repair, so I'm trying to catch up with Chat friends. My daughters decorate the tree, while I bake like a mad-woman. I used to decorate the tree alone while they were small and I'm happy they want to do it now. Nobody needs an elf on the shelf. I was just curious how many folks had them. Have a very Happy New Year!
