Now I don't know about you, but whenever I have a sleep to fix a headache, I wake up craving a cup of tea! I am not sure why because I only became a tea and/or coffee drinker in my 30's but there is just something so soothing about a steaming hot cup of tea.
And not just any old cup of tea.
Miss M bought me this teacup a couple of Christmases ago |
Yorkshire Tea is my brew of choice. You can't find Yorkshire tea in the supermarket here and I first came across it at my place of work. It is a little expensive but I think the pleasure I get from drinking it far outways the cost.
I might live in Australia and talk like an aussie but I am a Yorkshire lass at heart which is why I had to try it in the first place. My mum even buys it especially for me when I visit her. If my favourite cuppa is not available. I will always accept Twinnings Afternoon Tea :)
I bought this little teacup and teapot set for myself on mothersday |
Yorkshire Tea and the cups are my Tuesday Treasure this week. If you have a Tuesday Treasure, why not share it at Melody's The House on the Side of the Hill.
One of my favourite managers, Christine, bought me this mug. |
Have a lovely day!

Nothing like a nice cup of tea! Love the tea-cups too. I had never heard of a Yorkshire blend, do you get it from specialty tea shops?
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a nice cup of tea too - especially in a lovely cup. I used to really enjoy assam tea but don't find it often (probably don't look in the right places). I really like the little tin too.
ReplyDeleteI love my tea as well, my tea of choice these days is Rooibos or Honeybush , I only drink herbal these days . Your cups and teapot are adorable ,hope your headache is much better now.
ReplyDeleteTea always has to be drank from a lovely cup...and yours are definitely that! I will have to look for that brand at the supermarket here and give it a try. I hope your headache is better!
ReplyDeleteI love tea and coffee - but mostly coffee :) Your teacups are lovely - the blue one with the gold rim is gorgeous.

Sorry to hear about your headache. I love tea but have never tried Yorkshire tea, probably because I have never seen it in the states. But I do use Twinnings at times though, but only when I can find decaf. Your tea ball is very pretty along with the lovely blue cup.
ReplyDeleteMigraines are the worst. Glad you are better ; ) happy stitching
ReplyDeleteBeautiful treasure Cath. I love your teacups. I think painkillers make you dehydrated and so your cuppa would go down a treat. Sorry you had such a terrible headache. They are the pits. Sorry also for the late comment.
